Brian Greene, founder of Be The Man

About

You want to get it right this time.

Nobody showed you how, or somebody showed you the wrong way. You've made the promise before, and your house is still waiting to see it. Here's who is teaching this, and the rules he holds himself to.

I'm Brian Greene.

I grew up without a father in the house. Nobody showed me how a man keeps his word on a Tuesday when nobody's watching, so I learned the hard way. I made promises I meant and didn't keep them, more times than I want to count.

Today I'm a husband of eleven years, a father of three, a pastor of ten years, and a certified marriage counselor. None of that made me finished. I still have weeks where one of my four decisions slips. The difference now is that I can see it on paper by Sunday night, and I fix it before it costs me a month.

That's what Be The Man is: the system I wish someone had handed me at twenty-five. It's not a sermon or a pep talk. It's a time, a number, and a few men who will ask you about it.

If you've meant it every time and nothing changed, you're who I built this for.

Six laws. Written before anything was published.

These aren't values on a wall. Each one has already stopped me doing something I wanted to do.

The Clock Law

Nothing exists until it has a time. Not a priority, not an intention. A time.

The Source Law

No source, no spend. Every dollar this business uses has to come from somewhere named in advance.

The Failure Law

Every system has a written way to fail. If you can't say what breaking it looks like, you haven't built one.

The Proximity Law

I only teach what I've lived inside three years. Anything older, I've started remembering instead of running.

The Evidence Law

Numbers as numbers, not as stories. Four out of seven weeks is four out of seven weeks, not "going well."

The Protection Law

My family's story is not content. Nothing I publish will ever need their private life to make its point.
